First Methodist Church boasts one of the best traditional church music programs in the area. The dedicated members of the chancel choir lead the congregation each week in the traditional worship service on Sunday mornings and also present beautiful special performances for Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter.

 

Thanks to the close relationship to Troy University, the church is also blessed to have many college students contribute their musical talents to our worship services, and the congregation always enjoys the performances by the children’s choir and the handbell choir.

 

Instrumentalists and soloists, whether they are members of First Methodist or not, are invited to join us in providing beautiful music for the worship services. If you are interested in volunteering your talents, contact the music director at 334-566-4400.

 

Chancel choir practice is held each Wednesday evening from 7 until 8 p.m. All who are willing to contribute their time and talents are welcome to join us!
